Professor Anamika Shukla is presently serving in Department of Postgraduate Studies & Research in English, Govt. V.S. PG College, Gwalior, Department Of Higher Education, Govt. Of Madhya Pradesh. She has 20+ years of teaching English at UG & PG level.She has done M.A. in English Literature, with specialisation in linguistics. She has been awarded Ph.D. in American Literature. She is also a Fellow American study Research Centre, Hyderabad. She has recently completed an UGC Research Project "An application of Indian Poetics to the plays of Girish Karnad." She has published many articles in reputed Internationational and National journals. She has written 6 books and member of American Studies and Research Centre, Hyderabad (ASRC) & Central Institute for English and Foreign Languages (CIEFL), Hyderabad. Apart from her academic excellence she is an active participant in the socio-cultural activities, participation in youth affairs, worked for the rural and down-trodden, for the women and child welfare and also for the upliftment of the weaker sections of society. She worked as an Announcer for the programmes to be broadcast on radio which involves a wide range of programmes ranging from educational programmes, programmes for the awareness and upliftment of society, for children as well as entertainment. It involved the working on the latest news and presenting it for the listeners. She has successfully organised and participated in various State level programmes, plays and monoplays.
